Dear readers ,
I am so sorry for the delay in posts. I have been really busy and stressed. I lost my best friend. Not Hershey but the man who gave me Hershey. Well if you dont know who he is then his name will be Pete for the blog for fear he will sue me. Basicly, since he was diagnosed with cancer I noticed a huge change in him , pete has always been emotionaly abusive to me. Despite this I chose to move into his house instead of being homeless. Things went to hell. He started treating me like garbage from day one. I tried so much to be behave and stay out of his hair. He started complaining I was never home so I decided one day to stay home..................................................................................................................................................................................................... What a bloody bad idea pete started treating me like crap the Emotinal abuse was un bearable. A few days later he said Em, your only aloud to come here to sleep and eat dont come home at all. So I took the cable box out I was paying 189.00 a month out of my own pocket for petes personal enjoyment. At three in the morning pete came into my bedroom and proceeded to kick the living shit out of my rabbits cage and yelling he was going to fucking kill my rabbit because he wanted to watch televison. Stoned and disgruntled (I am on a medication to go to sleep at night) I got out of bed and tried to throw him down. Throwing a six foot man down isnt hard when hes on a g tube and lost a shit load of weight because of cancer treatments. As I tried to get my rabbit cage whitch was now teetering on the stairs in danger of following down the stairs whitch would of killed my rabbit. He got up and smashed my head in. I wanted to pull his g tube right out of his stomach however I was afraid that if I killed the mother fucker I would land my ass in jail so I choose not kill the mother fucker. Well anyways.......... Pete phoned a few days later to appoligize for smashing my head in. No appoligees were granted for trying to kill my rabbit. Ontario Disability Support Program Despite being told I dont live with pete any more sent him a cheque for my rent whitch was 485.00........ He called my dad said he had the money and we never saw the money. I pleaded with odsp to stop the cheque they refused they said I have to deal with my own personal issues my self. So basicily pete has 485 dollars plus my last months rent (i lived there for not more than three weeks rent) and refused to give it back.... Feb 1st I am moving to the ywca. I dont know any more. I am thinking of leaving the province. I have never wanted to leave the province because I didnt want to leave Hershey behind and I would miss pete so much. But the thing is pete is out of my life because he beat my head in (we were not dating we were friends and I just really cared about him and his wife) Everything reminds me of him. Silverodos , Nissans certain land marks .......... I need a change of scenery so once I get settled at the y I plan on making calls to see about transfering my pension and getting out of this province. Prayer is needed for this decision. Hershey now has a lump on the back of her ear........................ I am just getting more depressed. I hope when she dies mom will have an open urn so I can some of ashes and place it in a locket and take my girl every where. I saw a man driving with a collar on his rear veiw mirror a few weeks back. He looked at hershey and started crying......... I have never seen a sexy man cry before I blew him a kiss as we drove away. I will take hersheys collar every where ever I go. I hope that if I move out of the province mom will mail be her collar stinky and all when she finally goes home. Hershey dosent even lsiten to me any more she wont walk she wont go to park nothing. I still love her and shes still my number one dog whitch is why i havent mentioned q tip.

I am growing up so fast it so hard. I cant belive I am graduating. Wow Six years ago I sat in an office at Terry Fox Public school in Ajax and the officials from the school and the board said to me: I am sorry but your just not going to make it past grade ten your to angry your slow. Here I am six years later typing this to you , I surived several suicide attempts and millions of days later. One things for certain if I look back into my past where life seemed so inpossiable I cant belive I am here writing this to you. I wouldnt of thought that I would be here today 21 years old and strong. Hello,
Hershey is settling in well with her baby brother Q-tip. She is now sort of used to him. The other day I spent a tearful moment with hershey. Hershey will be 7 in july. I had her in the van with me and when I looked at her at a red light I noticed her face was becoming more white. I said to her. Girl, What am I going to do with out you? I started crying as I accelerated from the light and continued to tell her how much I loved her and How q-tip has drawn out a sort of soft side of me. Every thing q-tip does reminds me of what Hershey used to do when she was his age. I wish that I could make Hershey live for ever and I know the years are approching where Jesus will ask for her to return. My pastor once said in Church "Dog's do not have a soul" Christ give's us his animals to care and to nuture and care for them until Christ wants them to leave Earth" Im trying so hard to be there for her. I saved her from Euthanasia when she was just three. My friend didnt want her to go to a bad home and was going to do that. My mother accepted her they became friends. But Hershey and I still have that bond she still knows I am the one she met when she was a baby and she still knows what she can get away with me. She probally only has about 5 years left with us I hope she knows how much she is loved.

I havent posted in a very Longtime.... I've been more busy with my you tube channel (emm048) Lots of cussing be warned F is my favorite word lately. Hershey and I are going to do a walkathon on Sunday for the Durham Humane Society I got a total of 30.00 from the staff in my class room at school and I got 10.00 from My sister Marcella and my dads going to give me some Vacume money from his work and his co worker is going to give me 10.00 as well. I am happy that Rogers finally released some keyboard phones. I bought the Samsung gravity. Well Its a wonderful phone better then my last samsung a516 (so far knock on wood) but it was Orignaly released for T-Mobile (Some American company) well clearly some one at Samsung goofed up. I put a picture frame around one of my pictures you will see Momentarly and as I soon I blew it up on the computer I relized what the small print said in the corner. It says T-MOBILE ha ha I love it when people screw up. I went grocery shopping today my mom dropped off and waited for me there was a guy in the store he was trying to chat with me. But im just not ready to go back out and try again. He started talking to me at the Melon stand and was like saying some very random stuff about melons I am sure he was trying to hit on me. He was going on about how tasty they are and these are the freshest melons he had seen in a long time. I mumbled I just tap them to see if their fresh. I walked around the store with my head down and not making any eye contact for the rest of my trip and only mumbling at people to say Excuse me and sorry if I was in their way. I had a biopsy of my tounge done so im a bit sore at the moment and dizzy I camped out with Hershey at mom and dads house for a few days. I was only in the hospital for 1 hour and 30 minutes after being in a drug induced coma then my dad wheeled me out to outpatient ward and I waited for him to bring Mariono The Caravano to the doors. I walked to the van it wasnt far. Today I drove again even though I was dizzy I needed to drive her or it I guess so bad it was a nice purr the engine was cold this morning so the tranny was doing its Dodge bull crap and whining away I want to buy the van off dad when he is done with it how many times I have said that about peoples vehicles and never had my license. This time its real Im licensed and I m insured on the poor thing. I feel like its my first car. As I would never be able to afford my own at the moment and drive it more then him it seems... Sad how my drove me and my sister to dinner I got to tell her where every thing was I felt proud but sad that my mom dosent drive the Van and dad dosent drive a truck. Its weird to have that sort of situation a van is a Womans car Trucks are sort of both!! But my mom likes her truck so what ever. I hope that when she gets money for a truck she buys a Dodge Ram with Double Duelys and A HUGE DIESEL engine... Or an f150 gas truck. Oh i got to ride on a gurney at the hospital to and I forgot to tell my teachers.... I have a gurney joke with them because of a book I read they went flying down the stairs on a gurney because the hospital was on fire so i say Gurney and they laugh and vice versa people dont know the inside joke. They are like WTH is funny about that word....

I have posted in a while!! Sorry to my readers. Hershey is still very hyper. Today I let her in for a pee and when I sat on the floor to wipe her feet of muck. She jumped on me and began to kiss me. It was like wrapping a warm towel around me fresh from the dryer. She had been sun tanning! My dad and I went out together with Hershey the other day. We went to Palmer park in Port Perry and then we drove down old Simcoe street through blackstock and we went to Darlington provincial park for a very long hike I cant belive its almost my twentyth birthday. So it has clearly snowed again in Ajax Ontario. Hershey will not sit still she has an extreme case of the wiggles. She loves the snow. She has been going out side over twenty times a day. To much to even count!! She loves the snow. She jumps off the top step of four steep steps from the deck face first into the snow drifts of our big back yard. My dad is a Ham radio Operatior (VICTOR ALFA THREE GOLF ALFA ROMEO VA3GAR) He stores the towers for field day in his back yard his back yard is pretty large. Hershey runs around the yard and falls a sleep in the snow. Sometimes she refuses to come in. Our house in Ajax backs onto a creek so we dont have back yard neighbors witch makes are back yard huge we could (if wanted to) put an in ground pool in with a cabana and still have room for gardens. We dont wish to do that. Why waste money when you can go up north and swim? She runs around chasing things we cant see (squirels perhaps) some times she comes in with her fur sticking up on her back! I love my Hershey for ever

I have a picture of you in the glove box because I cried when daddy brought the new van home knowing you would never ride it in. That little puppy I used to bring over for you to see (and you didnt approove of) Now lives with mommy and daddy and is in full control of your kingdom. We are all very happy with her but not a day goes by where we dont metion your name. You are sitting on the Fire Mantel. Mommy and Daddy didnt have alot of money so they told the vet to do the basic. Your in a urn with Sand on it. I hold your urn some times and cry. I still love you more than words can say. But you were in so much pain it was time to say good bye. I am happy your not in pain any more. But I wish you could have lived longer as selffish as that is. No dog will ever look as unique as you. Dear Friends,

Its Em here writing for Hershey. Ajax Ontario has recived alot of snow this year. Hershey is just enjoying the simple joys of Life. She goes out side and digs holes and then curls up into a ball and falls asleep for half an hour. She then comes in side and curls up on her couch or our Laps to get warm. Last night I made a trip to burger king. It was -4 and starting to snow again. Well I had her up front and I had the window rolled down and I was only wearing a cheap hoodie from additonelle witch I say this. Do not but their clothes my winter coat blew on the first week of winter 2007 I couldnt afford a new coat this year so i've been wearing it so now its worse so now im wearing a hooding from additionelle that is falling apart already and trust me these things are one size to big so its not an issue of them being to small. Any ways Her head was out the window. Her Jowls were blowing in the wind. She enjoyed our trip to burger king. Im learning to how to take corners slowly when I first got my license I took them to fast and hershey fell off the seat now she hestiates getting into the van. My big brother is coming in tommorow night from Edmonton for a ten hour layover before going to the bahammas Paid in full by Cara Foods Operation he works damn hard enough and he deserves it as far as I am concerned. I will take pictures and post them here. Hershey is not aloud to go to the airport but it will be at 3:30AM so its understandable she will want to sleep up side down on HER COUCH with Legs,Ducky,Pinky,Squeeky Ball,Marrow Bone and Ball!

What I love most about winter is watching my 6 year old lollie (that's a Labrador/Collie mix) dive off the top of the deck into newly fallen snow. She rolls around and digs as many holes as she can...I think she must be wondering where the old ones are (they got filled in by the new snow!). We love to throw snowballs for her to catch...she never seems to tire of winter play. Claire.

Dear Readers,

Hershey and I would like to inform you that the Oshawa Humane Society Burnt down almost 200 animals were killed. The damge is estimated at a quarter million dollars please send them a donation to help them rebuild

OSHAWA -- Durham Humane Society staff members are "shocked and terribly distressed" after a fire killed at least 140 cats, three dogs and other animals at the Waterloo Street shelter early Wednesday morning.
Emergency officials arrived on scene at about 2:30 a.m. to find the building fully engulfed in flames.
"It's just been a day from hell," said shelter manager Ruby Richards, while visiting some of the surviving animals now under the care of Oshawa animal services.
Ten dogs, two cats and one rat were rescued and some of them remain at a local veterinary clinic to undergo assessment. In addition to the dogs and cats that perished in the fire, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters also died in the blaze, which destroyed the building, causing an estimated $250,000 in damage.
Cause of the fire has not yet been determined but police and fire officials are investigating.
City officials met with Humane Society staff and volunteers shortly before noon to discuss the best course of action.
"We're going to set up an interim plan and make sure the best care is being provided for the surviving animals," animals services manager Kathy Duncan said.
Several animal hospitals and shelters throughout the region have been notified and are willing to help in any way they can.
"We were just devastated when we heard," said Cindy Guimond from the Oshawa Animal Hospital, which sent a doctor to the location for help.
"We're just waiting for direction right now, but we will do what we need to do."
Whitby, Clarington and Ajax have offered their assistance in the short and long term for finding new homes for the animals and the Toronto Humane Society also sent a rescue vehicle to the site.
Shelter workers, volunteers and a humane society board member were visibly upset at the loss of the animals. Grief counsellors are available for treatment.
"I can't believe it. I'm just numb," receptionist Melissa MacArthur said.
The goal for the workers now is to pool resources to find solutions for how to move past the tragedy, staff member Candi Yeo said after the meeting.
"All we can do is stay strong, hope for the best and stick together as a team."
The public is being asked to not bring in donations of food, litter and blankets to animal services for the time being, but a trust fund has been set up to accept monetary donations.

Hello Readers,

Our first roll of black and white film was finshed last night I have to drop it off to be devolped. I got Hershey's 2008 Santa Pictures returned yesterday. This week is paper money week. It's the last one before Christmas. I am going to be banking the money. As I have said before things are tough right now. I still owe my teacher (yes my teacher) 50.00 for a gym member ship. I am going to be giving her twenty five. Also I have put a few resume's out and I am hoping to obtain a job. I have sent an email to Durham College I am hoping to take some of their continueing education courses. I only have fifteen credits I need 30 to graduate. I feel discouraged in school I feel I am not going any where. But I go to school because I know it's important. I think it's sad that I don't know what I want do after high school. There are to many options!!!! Also It has been one year ago since my father's accident. The roads were not slated 32 hours after a snow storm. David Miller I want you to resign your a jack ass and thats as much as I am legally aloud to say!

Hello October is drawing to a End so its time to blog again! Hershey has been really hyper this Month. Hershey really likes the colder temps. We let her outside and she will just sleep in a pile of leaves and when we call her in she runs to the other end of the back yard. We reside in an older subdivison so we have a massive back yard backing onto a green space! Each day I try to take at least one picture of her. I have over 70 pictures of her on facebook! A few years ago I took her to see Santa Claus (ha ha ya they do that for dogs to) I have a photo and I plan on scanning it on here for your veiwing pleasure. I also managed to dig up her baby picture. I showed it to my brother(29) who looked at the picture and then looked at hershey with a strange look and said Dam dog you got big! Hershey has been really good with all the changes recently. My nephew (5) has been living here on and off and he (who is semi allergic to dog's) is her best friend. He drives his cars up and down her back uses her for a pillow. They love each other and despite always being the center of attention and always having some one to play with she seems to get a bit sad when he isnt around. I wonder if it is because she is the same age as him. She was born July 2003 and he was born Jan 2003 so they are virtually the same age he is a few months older of course. Well the main thing is Hershey is well loved. We are always playing with her!!!! How Hershey Became Known to me as Hershey Bucket

I gave Hershey her name shortly after I met her when she was a baby after Noticing that one of her paws looks like its been dipped in a bucket of paint. Only one of her paws have this strange mark. So I nick named her Hershey Buckets or Hershey bucket for short. If you notice only three of her toes have this mark!!! :-)

I havent written lately because I have had a busy week. I started my fifth year of high school this week and I got the second part of my drivers license (G2) Hershey was sick this week she was puking from mon-wed We kept in touch with the vet however we all new she was feeling better wednesday evening when her toys once again were flying in the air and she was trying to get on our laps for snuggle times. Yesterday I took her for a car ride to the local supermarket to get some ice cream.. When I came back she was sitting in the drivers seat she clearly must of been scared shitless at the whole idea of me driving her around with out supervision at 1220 in the morning after a little convincing she moved back to the passenger seat and we drove home. I had to laugh though.. The familly car is a 2007 dodge caravan so it has the weight sensor in the seat to turn the air bag on and off ha she managed to turn the air bag off but the van was singing away trying to tell me to buckle the passenger seat up if we had been more then five minutes from mom and dads house I would of just buckled the belt behind her.. Hershey weighs in at about 75 pounds despite not being pure bred and I think if she was pure bred she would be at least 90. The photo on this page is from Silent Lake Provincial park last fall.... I really think its a good one!!!

This is Hershey. She is a five year old Lollie. Chocolate Labrador and Boarder Collie. My parents adopted her when she was three however I had known her previous owners and had known Hershey since she was old enough to leave her mother.
